Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade
We are currently seeking applications for a 1st year Casting and Moulding apprentice based at Coopers Plains. This will earn you a Certificate III in Engineering - Casting and Moulding Trade. Engineering Pre-vocational students and Trade Assistants encouraged to apply. Our host company manufactures its quality products for mining, power generation, defence, engineering and commercial customers, and enjoys a highly distinguished reputation in the metal casting industry. The opportunity to learn chemical analysis in their state-of-the-art laboratory is offered during the apprenticeship The skills learnt apply to a wide range of casting and moulding work, including producing sand moulds by hand or using moulding machines, pouring and trimming castings and operating and monitoring melting furnaces.
